LEDGER. Transaction risk goes beyond the amount.

Transaction risk assessment and fraud detection for banks and payment institutions.

This external software layer receives a transaction and returns an explained recommendation: allow, review or block. It combines transaction information with contextual signals to help the bank assess risk and make its decision.

Every transaction has a context

The amount, device, connection and account activity help put a transaction in context. LEDGER compares these signals with the account holder's usual behaviour to assess risk, rather than treating the amount as an isolated figure.

It can also recognise the same actor across changes of account, device or location, connecting the transaction's context with their activity.

A recommendation the bank can audit

Each recommendation includes an explanation the bank can review and audit. The institution receives a risk assessment alongside information that helps it understand why a transaction may need attention.

LEDGER recommends. The bank decides.

Under Regulation (EU) 2024/886, instant credit transfers in euro are executed within seconds, leaving very little time to review a transaction. That is why the recommendation needs to be clear and explained. Risk assessment and payment execution remain separate functions: the software recommends and the institution manages the transaction.

The system is in beta for private business use; it cannot be purchased directly through this website.

What would you do?

Fraud isn't always in the transaction. It's in who's behind it.

Six transactions. Decide whether to approve or block each one, then compare your judgement with LEDGER's recommendation. The experience shows how context can change the assessment of a transaction and which information may influence the decision.
