Privacy policy
1. Who is responsible for your data
Data controller: Valentina De los Ángeles González Hernández.
Email: hello@lumeni.tech
Website: https://lumeni.tech
The data controller is the person who decides why and how personal data is used.
2. What data we handle and why
This website has no forms and does not collect personal data through them. The only way to contact us is by email.
If you write to hello@lumeni.tech, we handle your email address and the content of your message in order to read and answer your enquiry.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in managing and answering the messages we receive (Article 6.1.f GDPR).
Technical data
When you visit the website, our technical providers may record data needed to run, secure and troubleshoot the service, such as your IP address and browser user agent. This data is used only for those purposes.
We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects on users, and we do not build profiles.
We do not sell personal data.
3. Who receives your data, and transfers outside the EU
Some providers that supply services needed to run the website may handle personal data:
Web hosting: Vercel Inc. (United States) hosts the site and handles technical data about visits, such as the IP address, in order to provide the service. It does so under its own privacy notice, available at https://vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
Email: Google (Gmail) provides the email service and handles data under its own terms and privacy policy, not as a processor for LUMENI. According to its privacy policy, Google may process information on servers outside the user's country of residence.
LUMENI does not sell personal data or pass it to third parties for its own marketing campaigns.
Vercel is a US company, so technical data about visits may be processed outside the European Economic Area. According to its privacy notice, Vercel complies with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and, when it transfers information, uses standard contractual clauses or other appropriate legal mechanisms.
4. How long we keep data
Emails we receive are kept for a maximum of 12 months after the last exchange about your enquiry, unless we need to keep them longer to meet a legal obligation or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Technical logs about how the site runs and its security are kept for the period set by the hosting provider: on the plan this site uses, the execution logs panel keeps one hour of data. Vercel may keep other technical information for the minimum period necessary, as its privacy notice explains.
Once the applicable periods end, data is deleted or kept blocked where the law requires it.
5. Cookies and browser storage
This site sets no cookies, neither its own nor third-party ones: none for analytics, advertising, tracking or profiling.
If you press the language button, the site saves the key “lumeni:lang” with the value “es” or “en” in your browser's local storage, only to remember the choice you made. It has no expiry date and stays until you clear the site's data in your browser. If you don't press the button, nothing is saved. The rest of the website, including the interactive experience and its sound, saves nothing in your browser.
Fonts are served from the site itself, with no requests to third-party servers.
If cookies or similar technologies that require consent are added in the future, we will ask before using them and you will be able to accept or refuse them.
6. Your rights
Where they apply, you can ask for access to your personal data, correction or deletion, restriction of its processing, object to its processing and ask for it to be transferred to you (portability).
Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before you withdrew it.
To exercise your rights, write to hello@lumeni.tech.
We may ask for additional information to verify your identity, and we will try to ask only for what is needed to handle your request.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD), especially if you believe the processing of your data does not comply with the applicable rules.
7. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures, suited to the risks of the processing, to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration, improper disclosure or destruction.
No system can guarantee absolute security, so these measures will be reviewed and updated when necessary.
8. Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when data processing, providers, the technical setup, legal obligations or any other relevant circumstance changes.
The version in force is the one published on this page.
This policy is also available in Spanish. If the two versions differ, the Spanish version prevails.
